SMART…SIMPLIFIED. SEE ABSOLUTE LIVING STORY ON HOW ROBERT AND SHANNA HAECKER ARE CHANGING TECH WITH NEW SHOWROOM

Absolute Living

The new TRIPhase Technologies Zionsville showroom says it all, with room after room of new and newer home technology tempting all the senses. Luxurious home theatres with advanced audio and video capabilities (complete with candy counters and popcorn carts), smart desks and bars with secret compartments, speakers masquerading as works of art (such as an Ente SoundTile for your Sonos® system), layered lighting schemes that can change to fit whatever mood you’re in…this is the forefront of home intelligence, and it’s right here in the Midwest.

Some of it seems straight out of science fiction, but everything in the showroom is available in real life. The name TRIPhase, however, did come from the 1990’s science fiction movie, Extreme Measures, starring Gene Hackman. A coincidence perhaps, but it stuck and still fits, Shanna says, noting the three phases of a TRIPhase system installation: pre-wire, trim out and final programming.

Robert wrote his business plan for TRIPhase while attending Ball State’s nationally ranked entrepreneurship program. Shanna, also a Ball State graduate, has been helping him steer the ship since before they were married, and they have been in this business for 25 years (literally in the business, sharing a home with their first showroom in the beginning). TRIPhase has evolved, adapting and integrating with the ever-shifting tech trends. But while Robert and Shanna are nimble amidst change, their commitment to quality and to their customers remains constant. “It’s been a wonderful ride,” Shanna exclaims. “It’s about the people, it’s about the industry, it’s about the technology and the way that people can live through their homes with what we offer that makes it so rewarding.”
